Virtual Assistants Singapore (VA-SG) launched in early 2014 and has since attracted clients of all natures from Asia, Australia and even Europe. VA-SG was founded by and is currently spearheaded by Liyana Dhamirah, a mother of four, who infuses her experiences and expertise from the lean start-up movement to strengthen VA-SG’s offerings to cater to your needs.
Why Are We Different?
We are strong believers of getting to the root of the problem; a key lesson learnt while trying to understand complexities involved in running a business through encounters with multiple start-ups.
We are not for the idea of forcing unwanted services to a client. We place importance on catering to your needs and providing you with VA services that are solutions-driven. We are not here to take you or your organisation for a ride, but to help you raise productivity.
VA-SG prefers to establish long-term rapport with clients. We treasure the bond that is forged between you and the VA instead of haggling over dollars and cents.
Our Goal
We are dedicated to providing you with excellent levels of customer service through working in a systemised and professional manner, regardless of whether you are a sole trader or a growing international enterprise.
How Does VA-SG Work?
We understand how difficult it can be to find someone dependable to assist you in building your business – which is why we have assembled a team of trustworthy, dedicated and friendly VAs to support you. We will first assess your requirements and match you with a VA that possesses the relevant skills and is available at your disposal.
How To Work With A Virtual Assistant?
A Virtual Assistant (VA) works remotely – they don’t need to step foot into your office. They can adhere to the task given, as long as they have the information and software (where applicable) available to them virtually. All VAs have working hours catered to suit their lifestyle – it could be the regular 9-to-5 or working at night after their kids are in bed – as they work from the comfort of their own home. Apps like Dropbox, Google Drive and Skype make communication between you and your VA seamless. Tasks will be completed according to instructions and within the stipulated time frame. The best part? You only pay for the services you engage your VA to execute. You do not have to worry about break times, annual leaves, CPF, income tax or other unnecessary expenses.
Is There A Need To Train A Virtual Assistant?
Taking on a VA is not unlike hiring a new employee, so you will still need to spend time communicating your expectations and preferred method of work to your VA. This can be done through a workflow document with instructions, or an in-depth Zoom conversation. All our VAs have prior experiences in Executive Assistant (EA)/Personal Assistant (PA) roles, and are fast learners. A client typically spends an hour or so on coaching, and can provide feedback at different phases later on.
